The disc I "AM 5:00" is a live recording for 74 minutes which started in his apartment at 5:00 AM as the title says.
The disc 2 consists of 3 commissioned works and 15 new tracks reconstructed from many recordings at various places in recent years.
2.01: Music for the tribute exhibition for Toshio Matsumoto (2006, Kawasaki City Museum)
2.04 & 2.16: Music for the dance performance "GEEEEEK" by BABY-Q
Both CDs are multi-track recording with analog tape machines without using any digital recording/mixing technique. "This is my small resistance to all that are made by copy-and-paste of digital data." (Nakahara) This inconvenience (= blood, sweat & tears) makes the sound vast and microscopic.
The double CDs are packaged in a special 7" paper cover with a sticker and a gate-folded poster made by Nakahara.
